If you’re planning to be in the area, check to see if anything of these annual events are going on.

 

Fridays, May-Oct:   Stockholm Stroll

 

April:  Gallery of Youth is a fundraiser gallery event consisting of artwork made by the children of Pepin Area School.  All proceeds benefit the art programs at the school.  By the kids, for the kids!

 

June:  

June Bloom Wine & Food Event on the Great River Road Wine Trail

Fresh Art Spring Tour is the first full weekend of June and takes you on a tour across the countryside to artist’s personal studios and other spaces.

 

July:

Pursuit of Happiness Festival is a magical celebration of freedom at Liberty Tree Farm.

 

Stockholm Art Fair takes place the 3rd Saturday each July at Stockholm Village Park on Lake Pepin.

 

August:  Avalon Fest typically takes place the last weekend in August.  It is at Avalon Utopia Healing Farm, where all are welcome.

 

September:

Laura Days is held the 2nd full weekend in September and is an interesting event for all ages.

 

Dog Days of Stockholm is mid-September in the Stockholm Village Park.  An event to raise support and awareness for canines in need.

 

October:

Fresh Art Fall Tour takes place the first full weekend of October and takes you on a tour across the countryside to artist’s personal studios and retail spaces.

 

Carve Your Heart Out takes place around the 2nd weekend of October.  A family friendly event with fun for everyone.

 

November:  Women’s Weekend is held the first weekend of November around the village of Stockholm.

 

December:  God Jul is a holiday celebration full of festive activities around the village of Stockholm and takes place the first weekend of December.
